Pathological gambling. Current status and new treatments.

In this paper we describe the current status of problem gambling in Minnesota and summarize the emerging drug treatments for pathological gambling disorder (PGD). A brief clinical description of PGD is followed by a summary of published drug treatment outcomes and the basic principles of medication treatment in office practice.
