Abstract
The present paper overviews new computational developments for general thermo-mechanical problems encompassing non-classical/classical models. A unified computational technology which provides simplicity, yet attractive computational features is described for applications to general thermo-mechanical problems. Effective solution strategies are recommended for various classes of problems and types of interactions. Merely for the purposes of illustration, dynamic thermo-mechanical propagation problems are described although the methodology is applicable to thermo-mechanical vibrations and general thermal stress problems.
