Abstract
Heterostructures consisting of layers of a colossal magnetoresistance material separated by nonmagnetic metallic oxide spacers were grown by molecular beam epitaxy (MBE). Based on the obtained heterostructures, the magnetic interlayer coupling was taken into account. Further, the oscillatory dependence of the coupling strength on the spacer thickness was observed. Exchange coupling was described within the Ruderman-Kittel-Kasuya-Yosida (RKKY) model.
