Abstract
Quantities and size distributions of particulate organic carbon (POC) transported by a stream reflect watershed and in-stream processes. Precision of measurement of carbon transport must be quantified before differences between times and sites can be evaluated. We have quantified such measurement precision in two headwater spring-streams; the results are extrapolatable to other small streams.-from Authors
