N2 - (Cell 182, 1519–1530.e1–e17; September 17, 2020) Our paper showed that spatiotemporal cAMP signaling is under the control of nanometer-sized domains shaped by phosphodiesterases, gating the activation of downstream effectors. Equations 1 and 2 were used to characterize spatial-temporal fluorescent cAMP diffusion. We have identified errors that were introduced into these equations when using the Microsoft Word equation editor in the preparation of the STAR Methods. π and 4∗ were omitted from the denominator of all terms in Equations 1 and 2, and “t2+” was incorrectly included in the numerator of the exponential terms in Equations 1 and 2. The corrected equations appear below and in the paper online. The formulas and computer codes used to analyze the data were correct, and therefore none of the results and conclusions are affected. We apologize for any confusion these errors may have caused.
