On the Theory of Dynamic Screening in Macroparticle Solutions

Abstract

An analysis is presented of hydrodynamic screening in a suspension of mobile Brownian particles. It is shown that screening is a transient phenomenon which vanishes for stationary flows unless the particles interact so strongly that they form a rigid network of immobilized obstacles.
