On the superfluid transition in dense electron systems

Abstract

Kohn's singularity in dense electron systems is shown to give rise to instability against Cooper pair formation for large orbital momentum l, i.e. for l>>rs-12/-while for dilute systems (r 2>or approximately=1) pairing with l=1 is predicted.
