Abstract
A representative high-strength %TRIP (Transformation Induced Plasticity) steel of 0. 25C-2. 1Mn- 2. 0Si- 8. 8Cr- 8. 3Ni- 3. 7Mo composition was investigated for sensitivity to hydroegn embrittlement. Under the conditions of testing cathodically hydrogen charged specimens, the TRIP steel could not be made to fail in a delayed brittle manner.
