N2 - (Figure Presented) Covering the bases: Nucleobases and aromatic carboxylic acids possessing complementary functional groups have been used in the synthesis of molecular adducts with exotic architectures. The architectures obtained with cytosine as the nucleobase lead to the production of several different supramolecular structures (see picture).
