Abstract
Responses of powder samples for NQR with spin I= 1 and 3/2 to pulses are acquired with fictitious-spin 1/2 operator and tensor operator formalism, respectively. The cases of axial symmetry and axial asymmetry are examined. Whether the nuclear spin I is 1 or 3/2 and the asymmetry factor η is zero or not, the calculation formulas of the responses to pulses are the same except they have different initialized magnetism M0 and projection factor r of rf field.
