Abstract

We have developed a new approach to electrocardiography inverse problems by means of artificial neural networks. We hypothesize that a distributed neural network (NN) can efficiently perform the nonlinear optimization in the inverse fitting procedure. Computer simulations were conducted to test the hypothesis. The NN-based algorithm may greatly facilitate the clinical applications of the electrocardiography inverse solutions.
