Abstract

We report the 488 nm photoelectron spectra of the mass-selected Cr₂H^- and Cr₂D^- anions. The electron affinity of Cr₂H is 1.474 ± 0.005 eV. Frequencies are reported for all three vibrational modes in both the neutral molecules and the anions, and their structures and bonding properties are discussed.
