Abstract
Near-field multi-beam-splitting Fabry-Perot Cavity (FPC) antenna systems are proposed. A cavity-backed coplanar waveguide (CPW)-fed slot antenna is combined with orientation-sensitive FSS designs. Vertically oriented unit cells in the uniform FSS design (FSS-AH) split main beam from a source into two or four beams.
