title = "Morphology development of apatitic phases in gelatin matrix at 37°C",
abstract = "The heterogeneous nucleation of apatitic phases at 37°, using gelatin [GEL] precursor was investigated. The commercial GEL contains various kinds of collageneous and noncollageneous components with mainly type-I collagen [COL]. It was found that the noncollageneous proteins in GEL could effect the formation of the morphologies. The study show that in this coprecipitation process using GEL matrix, the preparation condition significantly affects the kind and morphology of apatitic phases such as OCP, HAP, AP and TCP.",
