Abstract
Monitoring neuromuscular function is recommended whenever neuromuscular blocking agents are used. Clinical or subjective assessment is unreliable. Routine monitoring, performed with objective measurement techniques, provides additional safety with minimal risk to patients and helps to avoid potentially lifethreatening complications.
