Abstract
A study was performed on molecular exchange in poly(ethylene oxide)-polybutadiene (PEO-PB) micelles in water. The kinetics of molecular exchange was studied using a combination of deuterium labeling and time-resolved small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) techniques. The measurements performed up to 8 days after the preparation of the samples indicated that the micelle structures initially formed upon dissolution are completely locked in due to the effect of strong amphiphilicity.
