Abstract
A mathematical model of the anterior eye in which the aqueous humor is modeled as a Newtonian fluid and the iris as an elastic solid was developed. For demonstration purposes, the model was used to explore the role of iris attachment, blinking, and accommodation in the development and persistence of the disease.
