Abstract

The EPA Gaussian air pollution model PTDIS was used to evaluate important factors in the dispersion of odours from agricultural production facilities. Atmospheric stability class, wind speed, source emission rate and distance downwind had major effects on downwind concentration. Results were presented so that downwind concentrations can be estimated for any set of known conditions. (from author's abstract)
