Abstract

A study of different silvicultural and harvesting approaches within the forested riparian areas in multiple watershed was presented. These approaches were implemented to test and demonstrate ecological, economic, archeological and in-stream effects of contrasting management practices. The impact of management strategies on riparian systems and other forests on a landscape scale was evaluated.
