Mass transfer in an aerated flow

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contribution

An approach to developing predictive equations for bubble-water mass transfer at large hydraulic structures is reviewed. The approach emphasizes the use of relationships that describe the fundamental processes, whenever possible. This type of approach provides the investigator with insight into the important variables and allows for the development of a more robust predictive technique that may survive the extrapolation up to large hydraulic structures such as spillways and hydroturbines.
