Management of Surgical Abortion Complications

Abstract

Induced abortion in the United States is safe, and complications are rare. Because of their rarity, many clinicians may not have direct experience with managing complications during surgical abortions. This review details the management of hemorrhage, uterine and cervical injury, and infection after surgical abortions.
