Abstract
Diseases caused by the normally pathogenic fungi are common. The vast majority of patients will not require treatment. Amphotericin B remains the gold standard when treatment is needed. The availability of ketoconazole has provided an alternative mode of therapy, but its exact place is yot yet defined.
