Abstract

A completely implantable erectile prosthesis for the treatment of erectile organic impotence has been developed in conjunction with an artificial prosthetic urinary sphincter' Five patients have undergone successful surgical implantation of this device, two of these patients have had sufficient postoperative follow-up to achieve successful vaginal penetration for sexual intercourse.
