Abstract
Sexual dysfunction encompasses a constellation of conditions including reduced libido, erectile dysfunction (ED), ejaculatory problems, and orgasmic disorders. ED is the most common sexual dysfunction complaint as men age affecting even men in the younger age groups. The goals of this chapter are to provide a diagnostic framework by which sexual medicine physicians may understand and diagnose sexual dysfunction. Furthermore, this chapter will summate both the traditional managements of ED and premature ejaculation, as well as the recent surge in new ED therapies like stem cell therapy, platelet-rich-plasma and low-intensity-shockwave-therapy potentially reversing the underlying pathology of ED.
