Abstract

Magnetic domain observations and interpretation on Fe3Pd for ferromagnetic shape memory were discussed. Magnetic force microscopy (MFM) and X-ray diffraction were used. Results showed high contrast of magnetic domains the Pd concentration. Phase transformation were also investigated. Margin regime prevent the crystal from fully transforming to the martensite phase and free movement of the twin boundary.
