Abstract

Lipopolyamines, with high affinity for calf thymus DNA in an ethidium bromide displacement assay, bind with high affinity to bacterial lipopolysaccharide and neutralise in vitro endotoxic activity as determined by Griess nitric oxide and TNF-α ELISA assays. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd.
