Abstract

The existence of a real-time output feedback solution u(t) equals -Ky(t) to linear quadratic optimal regulators is presented on the basis of operator factorization and range inclusion lemma. Several applicable necessary and sufficient conditions and explicit expressions for the feedback operators K are given for finite-dimensional systems and some class of distributed parameters systems.
