Abstract

The usefulness of cytotoxic drugs has expanded from the malignant neoplastic diseases to a great variety of syndromes of known and unknown etiology and pathogenesis. For the management of these conditions a prolonged use of cytotoxic drugs is usually required; which will undoubtedly increase the late toxic effects and produce complications.
