Abstract

Varicoceles have been well studied for their effects on testicular function and growth. The appropriate mode of repair varies with the individual patient, surgeon experience, and surgeon skill. This chapter gives an introduction to varicocele repair and, in greater detail, discusses the technique of laparoscopic varicocelectomy along with its advantages, possible complications, and expected outcomes.
