Lack of seasonal variation in protein-bound iodine

Abstract

Serum protein-bound iodine has been determined monthly from five normal women and four normal men over a one-year period. A seasonal variation in the results was not detectable in spite of a large seasonal variation in ambient temperature. This is contrary to several reports from other geographical areas.
