Abstract

Power electronic systems process and control the flow of electrical energy by converting the voltages and current from one form to another. It meets the considerations in power conversion such as high energy efficiency and size, weight and cost reduction. Applications of power electronics systems include: switch mode power supplies and uninterruptible power supplies, energy conservation, process control and factory automation, transportation, electro-technical applications, and utility related applications.
