Introducing New Users to Medication Reminder Apps

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

As the popularity of mobile health (aka mHealth) continues to grow, all adults, specifically aging adults, may be encouraged to use mobile apps and technology to manage their chronic diseases and medications. Medication trackers for all age groups are helpful for successful medication adherence and easy refill notifications. These trackers have additional features, but for a broad user base, the essential features benefit all age groups. It is helpful to take advantage of the growing list of current and future studies on the success of using medication trackers for patients, caregivers, and physicians.
