A mathematical model was developed for intrinsic kinetics for rapid decomposition of methane in an aerosol flow reactor. The intrinsic kinetics were coupled to the transport phenomena occurring in the aerosol flow tube. Three kinetic parameters were varied to obtain a best-fit model, and then simulation results were compared with experimental results.
