Abstract
The skin and its appendages are vital for pig health, locomotion, and animal welfare. The diseases that affect the skin and feet of pigs are diverse and include infectious diseases, environmental factors, nutritional status, and congenital or genetic diseases. This chapter explores many of the common diseases and presents differential diagnoses based on signalment, clinical signs, macroscopic lesions, and lesion distribution.
