Abstract

Since early 1983 the College of Engineering at West Virginia University has embarked on initiating specific design phases to implement Computer-Aided Educational Methods into the curriculum for its engineering students. This paper describes ongoing trends towards implementing these concepts by the College of Engineering to include University/Industry collaborations and more specifically efforts by the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering towards the establishment of Integrated Computer-Aided Design Laboratory to add extra dimension to the existing Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering curriculm.
