Abstract
The process of intellectual discovery that is so much a part of the MSA conferences continues informally on the post-conference tours. The author focuses on his first MSA post-tour, the 2011 trip through Epiros and Albania. Highlights include dashing up mountainsides with colleagues, unsanctioned explorations of old communist prisons, and Virgilian epiphanies.
