S linkage analysis indicated that this locus for positive skin test reaction to antigen E and/or personal history or seasonal allergy is linked to HLA-B. The maximum likelihood estimate of the recombination frequency is 0.13 in males and 0.53 in females, with a lod score of 2.53.
