Abstract
Dentistry is a time-honored profession with deep historical roots. Our ability to provide optimal services today has evolved from centuries of research. Our tools to perform research to advance oral health now far exceeds our investment in new information and utilization of what we are learning. Dental schools should be leading the charge to know more and do more for our patients. Are they?.
