N2 - Single crystals of UT2Zn20 (T = Fe, Co, Ru, Rh, Ir) compounds were studied by means of X-ray diffraction, magnetic susceptibility, electrical resistivity and heat capacity measurements. The results revealed moderately heavy fermion character of all these materials with paramagnetic ground states due to itinerant 5 f electrons.
