Abstract

The implications for graduate teaching assistant (GTA) training were described. The teaching environment and experiences with inquiry-based instruction of chemistry GTAs were also examined. It was recommended that the assignment of GTA is a critical factor in successfully implementing an inquiry-based approach in a general chemistry laboratory course.
