Abstract
We prove global existence for both smooth and finite energy solutions of the Yang-Mills-Higgs equations with a critical-power Higgs self-interaction in ℝ3+1. The phrase "critical-power" denotes here a Higgs self-interaction behaving as |φ|6for large φ.
