Abstract

What should we think about friendship and social media? While philosophers are often skeptical about social media’s potential with respect to friendship, I will show why the issue merits thoughtful consideration and even optimism, off ering some reasons to think that, despite a variety of well-founded concerns, social media can off er valuable tools to support friendship.
