Abstract

On-site disposal of domestic sewage has become a significant environmental concern. Many new or modified disposal concepts have been proposed but almost all rely on soil infiltration fields for the ultimate disposal of the treated effluent. A computerized technique, using finite elements to solve Darcy's equation, was developed to predict infiltration field performance. Refs.
