Abstract
The electron transport in thin films of metallic ferromagnetic manganites and exchange field induced magnetoresistance were studied. Direct exchange coupling in ferromagnet/antiferromagnet multilayers and indirect exchange interaction in a ferromagnet/paramagnet superlattice induced the exchange fields. The resistance of thin films of metallic ferromagnetic manganites was altered by quantum mechanical exchange field. The vector sum of the effective exchange field and external magnetic field was used to estimate the electrical resistance.
