Testing procedures in rehabilitation of patients with acquired brain damage measure their production in activities of daily living in an absolute way without considering its dependency on situation, information and learning processes. In contrast this study is based on the assumption that learning is situational, and begins with comprehension. Perception and information are prerequisites. The control of efficiency of a therapy has to start here. This can be done only in an indirect way for example by observing changes in behaviour which are related to perception and comprehension. The frequency of three of such changes in behaviour in 52 patients with acquired brain damage in 97 therapy sessions, the regularity of their appearance in the course of tactual events, their relationship with perceptual processes and therefore with stimulation of brain processes, the goal of therapy with these patients, underline this possibility of testing the efficiency of tactual interaction therapy.
