title = "Enhanced capillarity in microchannels coated with nanoscale porous titanium dioxide",
abstract = "The enhanced capillarity in microchannels coated with nanoscale porous titanium dioxide (TiO2) by liquid phase deposition (LPD) is presented in this letter. To characterize the capillarity, the position of meniscus flow as a function of time was measured under calcinations and lightproof storage. The results from six groups of microchannels with the same width but different heights demonstrate that the porous surface of a titanium dioxide film enhances the capillarity stability significantly when the pore size is in the same order of magnitude to the channel height. This effect decreases as the channel height increases.",
