Abstract

This study estimates the net emission rate of reactive oxygen species (ROS) from indoor sources using recently measured outdoor and indoor particle-phase ROS concentration, indoor and outdoor particulate sulfate, and air change rate in a residence. Net ROS emission rates from indoor sources of 148 and 186 nmol/h were obtained for closed window and open window experiments, respectively.
