Electron identification using synchrotron radiation

Abstract

We discuss the application to collider experiments of electron identification by the detection of synchrotron radiation. The design of the synchrotron radiation detector being constructed for the AMY experiment at TRISTAN is described, and results of simulation studies of the anticipated performance of this device are reported.
