Effective viscosity in porous media of polymer solutions: effects of depletion and adsorption layers.

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

A model of polymer solution flow through porous media was established on the basis of the physical properties of a solution near an interface. The model was experimentally tested in enhanced oil recovery conditions with polymers used in field operations and with porous media having pore sizes corresponding to those of oil reservoirs.
