Effective potential approach to electron‐molecule scattering theory

Abstract

The use of effective potentials, including static, exchange, and polarization contributions, to treat electron scattering at intermediate energy is discussed. The discussion is illustrated by applications involving H, He, Ar, Mg, H2, Li2, N2, CO, and CO2 targets.
